ABOUT WCAF

DMA in partnership with HMG, are delighted to announce, the third edition of our flagship UK-Francophone West & Central Africa Trade and Investment Forum (WCAF III)scheduled for Wednesday, 4th December 2024 in London.

WCAF is a major intergovernmental and private sector summit comprising of all day VIP plenary sessions, specialised vertical industry streams, B2G deal rooms and a series of G2G bilateral meetings.

Since its inaugural summit in 2022, DMA has taken 15 high-level trade and investment missions to Sub-Saharan Africa, and organised over 20 impact investment roundtables, launches, and VIP events. The DMA’s programme of events has generated over 30 signed bilateral and investor agreements and continues to be supported by Africa’s leading investors.

WHO IS ATTENDING?

Led by senior cabinet ministers from eight countries, and 300 companies from the continent, 500+ UK investors, WCAF is the leading event in Africa in the UK this year. This year’s countries of focus are Senegal, Cote d’Ivoire, Cameroon, Gabon, DRC, Benin, Togo, and Guinea.

SOFT DIPLOMACY

The 2023 soft-diplomacy programme included the opening of the London Stock exchange, the exclusive hire of the iconic landmark Tower Bridge, a number of high-level ministerial roundtables, and bilateral investor days.
